Training and introduction to Power BI for management control.
THE CHALLENGE
A Lombardy business community had to introduce Power BI to optimize budget monitoring and obtain complete visibility on the order lifecycle. The context was characterized by significant dependence on manual files and limited internal analysis capacity. The objective was to create effective reports and transfer skills to guarantee autonomy in the use of the tool.
THE PROCESS
The project was structured through a targeted training path to provide practical and immediately applicable skills. In parallel, joint creation of operational dashboards was launched, working on real business cases. Data was integrated from local management systems (SQL) and from cloud sources (Web API), building a coherent model oriented to analysis.
THE SOLUTION
Development of a reporting system on Power BI capable of monitoring: Budget and actual of business areas. Order lifecycle, from generation to closure. The solution integrates different data sources into a single model, allowing a clear and updated reading of operational and economic performance.
The result
Automatically updated reports on a daily basis. Elimination of manual data preparation activities. Transfer of internal skills for autonomous use of Power BI. Adoption of the tool also for daily operational analyses.
