Banking reporting migration to Power BI Allitude

<p>An Italian banking group requested the migration of its reporting system to Power BI, guaranteeing operational continuity for users. The complexity and size of the data represented significant obstacles to performance, limiting efficiency in daily report usage. It was also necessary to preserve the user experience without relevant interface alterations.</p>

<p>The project was initiated through a feasibility study aimed at evaluating the technical sustainability of the migration and identifying the main critical issues. Data flows were designed and implemented with particular attention to volume management and information quality. Subsequently, an optimized semantic model was developed, capable of supporting complex calculation logic, ensuring high performance. The graphic component of existing reports was faithfully replicated, ensuring continuity in user experience.</p>

<p>A suite of reports was created on Power BI based on a scalable and optimized data model, capable of handling large volumes of information. DAX measures were designed and perfected to significantly improve response times. The interface was kept virtually identical to the previous one, avoiding the need for additional user training.</p>
